Qualitative Data Analysis: ATLAS.ti

This guide provides information and guidance for researchers interested in conducting qualitative data analysis.

ANNOUNCEMENT

        Atlas Ti. 8.0 (for Windows) is out.

       All licenses purchased after April 1, 2015 qualify for a FREE UPGRADE.

        NYU Data Services Lab & NYU's Virtual Computer Lab are operating on Atlas.Ti 7 until Summer 2017 re-imaging.

*NEW FEATURES COMING SOON:  (per Atlas Software Developers) You will notice that some features are not yet available and will be released within the coming months.  For those working in teams we recommend they stay with version 7 until version 8 has the capability to calculate inter-rater reliability. And project exchange between ATLAS.ti Mac and ATLAS.ti 8 is not yet available.  This should be available sometime in Summer 2017.

 
UPGRADES:  Anyone who bought a license on or after April 1, 2015, should have been notified by Atlas/Scientific Software of their free upgrade on December 21st with a personalized upgrade link. For those who purchased before that date and wanting to upgrade, they can do so via our orders webpage at www.order.atlasti.com .

ATALS.ti

ATLAS.ti can be used for an assortment of purposes, including coding and analyzing transcripts, field notes, literature reviews, grants, and other documentation. Source materials for coding and analysis using either software can include DOCX., CSV, PDF, TXT, RTF, PJEG, GIF, and audio & video formats.
