Obviously I have been suffering along with all of you from performance deprivation, but our ever-resourceful and innovative friends in the arts are rising to the challenge with a wide variety of ways we can still connect with the theatre in our new locked down world. Most if not all of them are free--just tune in. I will therefore continue the tip sheet providing what information I can of this new theatre world. - Red Bull, my favorite ongoing script in hand theatre, is taking its act online with a reading of John Ford's great Jacobean thriller Tis Pity She's a Whore Monday March 30 at 7:30. ‘Tis Pity She’s a Whore [redbulltheater.us9.list-manage.com].
- Lincoln Center is offering a wide variety of online material, including classes, concerts, and selections from the LC archives, such as Qian Yi performing excerpts from classical Chinese Opera. For a complete uptodate listing, consult the LC website lincolncenter.org.
- Frank Hentschker at the CUNY Segal Center has set up a truly outstanding series of one-hour chats with leading theatre makers in the U.S. and abroad. called SEGAL TALKS. held daily at noon beginning Monday, March 30. - Although their Pipeline Festival had to be cancelled, WP Theatre is offering a chance to get up close and personal with the five writer, director and producer collaborators on the Festival at @wptheater [sable.godaddy.com] on instagram and #PipelineOnline [sable.godaddy.com].
- BAM is offering online an Opera of the Week, which will be announced on https://www.bethmorrisonprojects.org/. The current selection is the new multimedia opera Songs from the Uproar by Mazzoli and Vavrek.
- The Tank is inaugurating a Saturday Night cabaret, featuring artists from many parts of the experimental performance scene.
- New York Classical Theatre has launched a video series of scenes from their archives of Shakespeare productions, changing every two or three days. They may be found at #ShakesInPlace [nyclassical.us12.list-manage.com].

- The site-specific This is Not a Theatre Company has developed two new shows for the age of physical distancing. The first is an immersive Play in Your Bathtub, which you may join April 1, 3, 8 or 9 by making a reservation at https://www.artful.ly/events/20321.
