Scholarly Communications

A guide gathering information and topics related to scholarship and publishing.

Welcome!

At NYU Libraries, we are here to help you access, create, evaluate, and disseminate scholarly work. We provide a wide-range of services to support scholars and researchers across the global campus and across disciplines.

We can assist with:

  • Understanding and negotiating publishing agreements
  • Figuring out how to publish open access
  • Adopting and creating open educational resources
  • Navigating fair use for teaching and research
  • Engaging with copyright for your own work or the work of others

To get in touch with us in the Scholarly Communications and Information Policy department, please email open.access@nyu.edu.

Special Thanks

Special thanks go to Lingyu Wang, Marissa Ajamian Grossman, Juan Arias, and Seon Shim for their crucial contributions to the content and maintenance of the Scholarly Communications & Information Policy Department's Copyright, Open Access, and Affordable and Open Education Resources guides.
