Copyright: NYU Permissions

A guide to copyright law as it relates to academic research, teaching, and publication.

Getting Permission from NYU

Material created by NYU and associated with its visual identity, including the NYU Torch logo, belong to the university. To inquire about permissions for this material, contact Mark Courtney in NYU Public Affairs (mark.courtney@nyu.edu).

If you wish to use educational or artistic material created by an individual or academic department at NYU that is not associated with the university's visual identity, you will need to contact that individual or department directly.

You can search the NYU website for people and department pages here.

Please do not send permissions requests to the Fair Use listserv.
