Open Educational Resources (OER Defined)

OER has been defined as "freely accessible, openly licensed documents and media that are useful for teaching, learning, and assessing as well as for research purposes. " ( These include formats such as syllabi and courseware, databases and journals, scienctific communities, repositories, streaming videos, podcasts, multimedia, books, maps, software, and any other educational resources openly accessible without a license agreement.
