The NYU Sydney Library is a compact but unique collection of texts and media that effectively provides cultural, historical, scientific, and anthropological resources that enable students to access Australia’s past and present. Our shelves contain required course material as well as additional readings to enrich studies at Science House. Additionally, our collection of DVD’s (both rare and familiar) allows professors and students the opportunity to explore the topics covered in and out of class through the medium of film. With new titles added frequently to the collection, our library creates a vibrant representation of local, national, and international authors in an ever-globalizing world.
Policies:
-Aside from reference books (which must stay in the building but can be loaned for 2 hours at a time), books and DVDs may be checked out for a 7-day period
-Certain required course materials can be loaned for a full semester.
The NYU Libraries Online Catalog can be used to find materials that are not part of NYU Sydney's on site library collection. Ebooks, ejournals and database subscriptions are freely available to all NYU users.
