Dibner Library Showcases Student Artwork

The Bern Dibner Library is celebrating the artistic talent found within its community with The Dibner Art Showcase, a new student-led exhibition. Students were challenged to submit art pieces that apply to the theme—hope. A team of student curators selected 14 pieces to highlight from numerous submissions. The works will be on display on the 3rd floor of Dibner Library, 5 MetroTech Center in Brooklyn from November 11, 2022 through January 20, 2023. The pieces can also be viewed online.

The student curators for the showcase are Andrea Aghel and Darwin Fermin. Andrea is a lead Student Assistant at Dibner Library, and is also in her final semester as a Business and Technology Management bachelor’s student. Darwin is a Student Assistant at Dibner and is pursuing a bachelor’s degree in Civil & Urban Engineering with a minor in Construction Management.

Anne-Marie Prekezes, BS in Computer Science and Design Media '25

Moazamah Rubab, MS in Construction Management '22

Ayman Siam, BS in Mechanical Engineering '23

Elaine Song

Keer Zhao, MS in Interactive Telecommunications Program '23
