Select a section of text where some of the characters have the wrong font.

  1. Right-click the selection and click Properties on the shortcut menu.
  2. Select the desired font from the Font drop-down list in the Text Properties pane.

The font in the selected text fragment will change as a result.

To change the font in a long document where styles are used:

  1. click Tools > Style Editor
  2. In the Style Editor dialog box, select the style you want to edit and change its font.
  3. Click OK.

The font in all of the text fragments using this style will change accordingly.

Decorative Fonts & Symbols:

If a document you want to recognize contains decorative fonts or special characters (e.g. mathematical symbols), it is best to use the training mode to improve OCR accuracy which will be discussed in the next section.
