A Note on Primary and Secondary Sources

Listed below are a selection of databases related to how aesthetics intersect with fashion and costume. A full list of databases that are available for use to the NYU community can be found in the Databases A-Z section of the library website. The databases below have been loosely organized into Primary Source Databases and Secondary Source Databases, however, many of these databases contain content that could be considered both a primary and a secondary source. A source is primary or secondary ultimately based on your interpretation of the definitions.
