Find resources for your research in economics here!

Economics is the study of human decision-making, considered in relation to the economic tasks of life. Students at NYUAD are expected to research economic issues from local, regional and global perspectives. This guide recommends reference materials, databases and other resources for conducting research across all areas of economic study. Before starting your research, here are a few tips when choosing databases:

  • Locate background information with a subject encyclopedia such as The SAGE Encyclopedia of  Economics and Society.
  • Start your search for articles in a general research database such as EBSCO Discovery.
  • Use subject databases such as EconLit for economic specific articles.
