Elliot Galvis is the adjunct Digital Scholarship Specialist at NYU Libraries where he develops materials for navigating computational tools and helps researchers effectively implement digital methods in their projects. He earned his M.A. in Digital Studies of Texts and Culture from the University of Chicago and holds a B.A. in Classics from Princeton University. Elliot’s recent research applies natural language processing to study banned books in the United States. He specializes in cultural analytics, gender and sexuality studies, and text analysis.
