PsycINFO (via APA PsycNET)

PsycINFO, the most popular database in PsycNET, is a bibliographic index covering core literature in the psychological and behavioral sciences and their related disciplines.

Altogether, PsycNET provides information about and access to journal articles, books, dissertations, conference presentations, tests & measures, videos, and gray literature in the psychological, social, and behavioral sciences.

Social Services Abstracts

Indexes scholarly articles, book reviews, and dissertations on social work, human services, social welfare and social policy. Dates of coverage: 1979 to present.

SocINDEX

SocINDEX covers the sociology literature, encompassing all sub-disciplines and closely related areas of study including gender studies, criminal justice, social psychology, racial studies, religion, and social work. It indexes scholarly journals, books, monographs, and conference papers.

Social Work Reference Center

Social Work Reference Center is a comprehensive reference tool that provides evidence-based information to social workers and other mental health professionals directly at the point-of-care.

Google Scholar

Google Scholar is a central search for scholarly literature. It covers disciplines and sources, peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.

Web of Science

This multidisciplinary citation index includes scholarly articles, conference proceedings, and books in the biomedical, psychosocial, and arts and humanities. The database contains Social Sciences Citation Index, a full bibliographic and cited reference data for journals in communication, education, geography, history & philosophy of the social sciences, law, political science, public health, social issues & sociology.
