What is RefWorks?

RefWorks a web-based tool for capturing references when searching catalogs, databases, Google, etc.  Use it to:

• Set up an account (see right)
• Add references from catalogs, databases, Google Scholar, websites, and PDFs
• Organize, annotate, sort, and search references
• Create bibliographies and in-text citations

To create an account:  Go to the RefWorks login page, and click the "Create account" link. It's a subscription service, but there's no charge because you're covered under NYU's site license.
