Tips for Submitting Exhibition Materials

Never underestimate the importance of high quality images and a well-written artist statement when submitting your work. A few important ideas to keep in mind:

  • always use clear, in-focus, and well-lit images of your work
  • make sure to follow the size, DPI, and dimension guidelines
  • triple-check your artist statement, making sure that it is clear, concise, and contains no typos
  • remember--your images and artist statement are your first, and often times only, chance to make a good impression.
