A/P/A Studies = Asian / Pacific / American Studies

This guide is based on the essential bibliography A Guide for Establishing Asian American Core Collections by Wei Chi Poon, published in 1989.  Books not owned by NYU are on order with the exception of works where NYU owns the original edition.  Another exception is where there is a latter edition published after 1989.

The guide follows the chapter outline of Poon's bibliography for the initial tabs and the order within the guide pages. Additional pages were created for:

• Western Asian Americans
• Special Collections at NYU with links to finding aids for their relevant collections
• Recommended websites, sites focused on Asian American history available without subscription on the web
