Check with your dorm and ask if they have an area to return library books.
But don’t worry too much, your safety is the most important thing! You won’t be charged for materials that go missing due to the emergency move-out.
All due dates for NYU materials, E-ZBorrow or ILL loans are extended until May 22.
Includes Dibner, Bobst, BLCC, and AFC materials
Need more time? Email us at lib-circulation@nyu.edu
We’re canceling recalls and removing any accrued fines
The library will not be blocking user accounts or reporting lost materials to the Bursar’s office during this time.
Get help with borrowed items
Email Circulation staff at lib-circulation@nyu.edu
You can reach Circulation staff on Ask a Librarian chat; they have access to borrowers’ records.
Return bins are open but we encourage you to keep items until our services re-open.
We’re not checking anything in for now.
If you need due-date extensions past this semester, you can:
Renew materials in May
Ship your books back to Bobst when it reopens
Contact Circulation Services via email at lib-circulation@nyu.edu and let us know how we can help.
If you have more questions for us:
Bobst materials: lib-circulation@nyu.edu
Dibner materials: dibner.access@nyu.edu
We’ll hold your requested items for you until on-site services resume.
You’ll receive a notice with options for requesting a digital version.
Materials Left in Lockers and Mobys
You’ll be able to enter Bobst Library to clear lockers from March 17-22, between 9am – 6pm.
Ask at Public Safety for access to clear lockers or Mobys. Bring your NYU ID!
Please fill out the Locker Rental Update form to let us know you cleared out your stuff.
If you can’t empty your locker by March 22
Sorry–we can’t mail you the things in your locker. But we’re extending rentals for free until Sept. 1, 2020. If you have any concerns, email us at bobst-access@nyu.edu
