Celebrate the power of maps and location data at NYU GIS Day 2024 on November 20th! This year’s theme - 'Mapping Minds, Shaping the World' - is all about how GIS technology is reshaping our world by blending creativity and data to reveal hidden trends, drive sustainability, and make smarter decisions using the power of location data. (gisday.com). Whether you're new to GIS or a seasoned professional, there's something for everyone!

This event is hosted by NYU Data Services, Research and Instructional Technology (NYU IT), and Research and Research Services (NYU Libraries) in partnership with the Center for Urban Science + Progress, NYU Tandon School of Engineering.

We are offering a series of activities including lightning talks, technical workshops, networking space, and a mapping competition.

    Get ready for a rapid-fire showcase of brilliant GIS projects! Learn from inspiring experts and innovators as they share their work in short, engaging presentations.
