NYU Sydney has a compact but unique on-site library, situated in its Merewether office. Students can access a wide range of Australian-specific resources with new titles being added frequently. The collection includes the required texts for all courses offered at the site as well as a wide range of supplementary materials that have been recommended by our faculty to help our students undertake further research in many different disciplines. We also have a great collection of DVDs showcasing Australian film and television production available for loan. Most books and DVDs may be checked out for a 3-day period. Certain required course materials can be loaned for a full semester. Students can search the collection via our online catalog and borrow items using their NYU ID card.
NYU Sydney students are also able to access all library services available as a student of The University of Sydney. The University of Sydney Library has 14 locations across campuses, including in Darlington/ Camperdown, Camden and Sydney CBD.
The NYU Sydney Catalog search box allows users to view their collection of books, videos, and other materials held on site. Users can also access the catalog directly.
