Great discovery tool for scholarly literature published in Latin America, the Caribbean, and countries outside of the United States. It covers disciplines and sources, peer-reviewed papers, theses, books, abstracts and articles, from academic publishers, professional societies, preprint repositories, universities and other scholarly organizations.
Classic Mexican Cinema Online, 19021965
Classic Mexican Cinema is a collection of popular movie periodicals, covering the "Golden Age" of Mexican Cinema. The resource includes chief magazines such as Cinelandia (1931-1947), which was published in both Spanish and English in Hollywood, Cinema Reporter (1943-1965) and Cine Mundial (1954-1955), with extremely rare copies of El Cine Gráfico from 1935 and of the weekly El Mundo Ilustrado (1902-1910). This collection also includes dozens of film flyers, as well as the personal scrap books of filmmaker Fernando de Fuentes (1894-1958).
