Arte Público Hispanic Historical Collection is an archive of publications focused on U.S. Hispanic history, literature and culture from colonial times until 1960. Available in two series, Series 1 focuses on the creative life of U.S. Latinos and Hispanics. Series 2 focuses on Hispanic American civil rights, religion and women’s rights from the 18th through the 20th century. Content is written, indexed and searchable in Spanish and English.

Brill Online: Books and Journals is a collection of ebooks and academic journal content published by Brill. Users can search collections, series, and titles across many academic disciplines.

Chicano Database indexes monographs, journal articles, book chapters and other material related to the study of Mexican-American and Chicano history and culture; some materials also may be relevant for U.S. Latino studies more broadly. The database is produced by the Ethnic Studies Library at the University of California, Berkeley, with extensive coverage from the 1960s to the present and selective coverage to the early 20th century.

Digitalia Hispánica provides full-text access to research in the humanities, fine arts, social sciences, STEM fields, and law from Spanish and Latin American publishers. Coverage includes monographs (eBooks), periodicals, and conference proceedings, as well as a collection of literary texts written originally in Spanish and Spanish translations of literature in other languages.

The primary aim of DOAB is to increase discoverability of Open Access books. Academic publishers are invited to provide metadata of their Open Access books to DOAB. Metadata will be harvestable in order to maximize dissemination, visibility and impact. Aggregators can integrate the records in their commercial services and libraries can integrate the directory into their online catalogues, helping scholars and students to discover the books. The directory will be open to all publishers who publish academic, peer reviewed books in Open Access and should contain as many books as possible, provided that these publications are in Open Access and meet academic standards.

Ebook Central is NYU's preferred ebook provider. Users can search, read, highlight, and annotate full-text books in many subject areas, including the social sciences and humanities.

Latino Literature is a searchable collection of poetry, fiction, and drama written in English and Spanish by Chicano, Cuban, Puerto Rican, Dominican, and other Latino writers working in the United States, including previously unpublished titles. The database also includes a collection of ephemera (playbills, brochures, photographs, postcards, etc.) and artwork.

The OAPEN Library contains freely accessible academic books, mainly in the area of Humanities and Social Sciences. OAPEN works with publishers, including university presses, to build a quality controlled collection of Open Access books. Users can download copies of books as PDFs.

Taylor & Francis eBooks is a portal for full-text ebooks in a variety of subjects across the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Users can download .PDF versions of some books on this platform, and view other books via the FileOpen online viewer.
