SDC (Securities Data Company) Platinum is a collection of financial transaction databases from Thomson Reuters which includes Mergers & Acquisitions, Global New Issues, Corporate Governance, Corporate Restructurings, Venture Capital, and Global Public Finance.
- SDC Platinum is available via LSEG Workspace (formerly Refinitiv Workspace) (approval required, email us to request access) and partially via WRDS.
- SDC's legacy Windows software will be sunset by the vendor on Dec 31st, 2023. Users of the legacy software should plan to migrate.
- Some SDC data (such as VentureXpert) is available via Refinitiv Workspace's screening tool. Please note that the default screening tool does not afford complete access to the full data in the SDC Platinum module.
