RefWorks: Bibliographies & Citations

RefWorks is a bibliographic citation management tool. This guide provides help using RefWorks.

Create a Simple Bibliography

Click the quotation mark icon then choose "Create bibliography."

Select your desired citation style then copy the bibliography and paste it into a Google Doc or Word document.

Cite in Google Docs

The first step is to download the add-on. Start at the RefWorks "Tools" menu.

Then get the Google Docs add-on.

The add-on becomes part of the Google Docs toolbar.

Your RefWorks references appear on the right.  You can insert references as you write your paper.

Cite in Microsoft Word

Start at the Tools menu.
