Anarchist Serials List

The Tamiment Library holds a large collection of anarchism-related serials, published in the U.S. and abroad dating from the late nineteenth century to the present. More than 200 of these titles have been cataloged in NYU's library catalog, to date.

  • Search NYU's library catalog, to see which issues are held by the library. Please note that not all of the serials in the library's collections have been cataloged so far.
  • Inquire at the Tamiment Library about titles that do not appear in the library catalog to see if they are among the library's holdings.

Use the search box on this guide to search the catalog for books, serials, and pamphlets at the Tamiment.

  1. Type in the box using keywords, titles, or author names.
  2. A new window will open, taking your search to the catalog.
  3. On the left side of that page, you’ll see a list of links with “Limit My Results” at the top.
  4. Click on “NYU Bobst Tamiment/Wagner” under “Library” to get results from the Tamiment only.
