The Music Index offers comprehensive indexing and abstracts for more than 660 journals in the field of music, with selective coverage for an additional 200-plus journals. The online database extends back to 1964; for publication dates 1949-1964, consult the physical print volumes in the Music Reference section (Bobst 7th floor), call number ML118.M987.
Music Periodicals Database (formerly International Index to Music Periodicals) is a research database for periodical articles in music from 1874 to the present, with indexing for more than 600 journals and full text for more than 220.
RIPM (Répertoire internationale de la presse musicale, or Retrospective Index to Music Periodicals) is a digital repository of historic music periodicals originally published 1768 to 1966, the majority of them reproduced in complete runs with searchable full text.
