These modules were designed to be assigned by POH instructors as homework assignments for students to view and respond to.

1. Types of Sources: an introduction to classifying sources as primary, secondary, or tertiary, and to the BEAM method
2. Peer Review and the Original Research Cycle: an overview of the academic research cycle, peer-review process, and databases for checking peer review
3. Databases and Journal Articles: demonstrates how to select a database, search by keywords, identify journal article metadata, and use search filters and subject terms
