About this Guide

This guide is designed to help students in the gMSW program at NYU Shanghai. It will give you an overview of major text and video databases in Social Work, and suggest resources for beginning your research using encyclopedias, dictionaries, handbooks, and important journals. For specialized topics in social work, Ask A Librarian, or consult some of the specialized research guides created by Stephen Maher, who is the librarian for social work at NYU's Bobst Library.
