NYU Libraries presents We All Return To The Place That It Started, an exhibition in the Mamdouha Bobst Gallery opening on July 14.

We All Return To The Place That It Started is a group exhibition of works that explore themes of memory, identity, personal narratives, and cultural histories. Curated by Silvia Beatriz Abisaab, it features a selection of works that include drawing, painting, photography, sculpture, installation, and a range of visual languages and approaches that offer a diverse and thought-provoking connection to representation and experience. The exhibition aims to demonstrate the wide breadth of formal and thematic explorations of the current major and minor students in the Studio Art program in the Department of Art and Art Professions, at NYU’s Steinhardt School of Culture, Education, and Human Development.

Featured artists: Alaya Shah, Andrei Barrett, Becca Panos, Benji Hsu, Campbell Romano, Candice Lu, Cecilia Crowe, Cynthia Li, Darinka Arones, Ian Kai, Isabella Marques, Jane Liu, Kalia Harunzade, Nick Horcher, Owen Roberts, Rory Jackson, Sarah Gelleny, Yutong Wei, and Yuxi Ma.

Silvia Beatriz Abisaab is the Undergraduate Program Administrator for Studio Art in the Department of Art and Art Professions. Silvia received her BFA in Photography from the Kansas City Art Institute in 2016.
