Federal Reserve Data
The Federal Reserve's data page provides an extensive collection of economic data essential for research and policy analysis. This resource includes datasets on key economic indicators, regularly updated statistical releases, historical data series, and tools for data visualization.
FRED (Federal Reserve Bank of St. Louis)
Contains approximately 72,000 time-series data sets that include components of the consumer Price Index, per-capita personal income, and unemployment statistics for small geographic areas in the United States.

PolicyMap
PolicyMap is a web mapping platform that contains data on demographics, real estate, city crime rates, health, schools, housing affordability, employment, energy, and public investments. Social Explorer

UNdata
UNdata is the data download portal of the United Nations. Users can search by country, year, and indicator and create custom data extracts to download. UNData also includes an API that developers can use to query, display results externally, and download to local storage for further analysis. The data portal includes datasets from the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), World Health Organization (WHO), and more.

National Accounts Data
National Accounts Data are a comprehensive set of economic data that provide detailed information on the economic activities of a country. They are compiled using the System of National Accounts (SNA), which is an internationally agreed-upon standard set of recommendations on how to compile measures of economic activity.

CMIE Prowessdx
Prowessdx is the data extraction interface for the Prowess databases from CMIE (Centre for Monitoring Indian Economy,) including data for Indian companies extending back to 1990. It contains daily stock price data and fundamental data for both private and public companies in India, data on ownership and governance (board composition, meetings, major stakeholders, subsidiaries etc.) and data on mergers & acquisitions.

Groningen Growth and Development Centre (GGDC)
The Groningen Growth and Development Centre (GGDC) is a research institute affiliated with the Faculty of Economics and Business at the University of Groningen in the Netherlands. It is renowned for its key databases, including the Penn World Table (PWT), which offers internationally comparable data on relative levels of income, output, input, and productivity, and the Maddison Project Database, which provides historical data on economic performance, facilitating the study of long-term economic growth and development.

IndiaStat
IndiaStat provides access to statistics on health, higher education, agricultural and industrial production information, economic statistics, and tourism related data in India. World Health Organization: World Health Statistics Annual Reports
The World Health Organization's World Health Statistics reports are collated from publications and databases produced by WHO's technical programmes and regional offices. The core set of indicators was selected on the basis of their relevance to global health, the availability and quality of the data, and the accuracy and comparability of estimates. Unemployment Insurance (UI) data from the U.S. Department of Labor’s Office of Unemployment Insurance is available at the national and state levels, with some datasets extending to U.S. territories. The data are reported on both a weekly and quarterly basis, with historical records dating back to the 1960s for some series, though coverage and detail improve in more recent decades.
Key metrics include initial and continued claims, benefit payments, average duration, trust fund balances, employer contributions, and program performance indicators such as timeliness and overpayment detection.
The Union Membership and Coverage Database
The Union Membership and Coverage Database, is an Internet data resource providing private and public sector labor union membership, coverage, and density estimates compiled from the Current Population Survey (CPS), a monthly household survey, using BLS methods. Economy-wide estimates are provided beginning in 1973; estimates by state, detailed industry, and detailed occupation begin in 1983; and estimates by metropolitan area begin in 1986. The Database, constructed by Barry Hirsch (Andrew Young School of Policy Studies, Georgia State University) and David Macpherson (Department of Economics, Trinity University), is updated annually.

European Values Survey
The European Values Study (started in 1981) is a large-scale, cross-national, and longitudinal survey research program on basic human values. It provides insights into the ideas, beliefs, preferences, attitudes, values and opinions of citizens all over Europe. It is a unique research project on how Europeans think about life, family, work, religion, politics and society.
Eurobarometer (The European Union)
Eurobarometer includes results of surveys and studies by the European Commission, begun in 1973, which address major topics concerning European citizenship: enlargement, social situation, health, culture, information technology, environment, the Euro, defense, etc.

Gallup Analytics provides access to nearly a century of U.S. opinion data (Gallup Daily Tracking) and a decade of Gallup World Poll data on economic well-being, education, and other topics. Gallup Brain
Gallup Brain is an archive of historical public opinion polling in the United States. Users can find summary tables with answers to hundreds of thousands of questions, and responses from millions of people interviewed by The Gallup Poll since 1935. Coverage stops at 2007.

General Social Survey (GSS)

Inter-University Consortium for Political and Social Research (ICPSR)

ICPSR is a social science repository that includes curated data sets pertaining to many disciplines within the social sciences. ICPSR contains original codebooks and descriptions of methodology, offers multiple file format downloads, and links data to relevant scholarly research. Users can search at the variable level and trace datasets to their use in academic publications. The archive also includes data-driven learning guides for those teaching with data.

Latinobarómetro
Latinobarómetro provides access to data from an annual public opinion survey conducted since 1995 in 18 Latin American countries, including Brazil, by Corporación Latinobarómetro, a non-profit NGO based in Santiago, Chile. The site also provides links to annual summary and technical reports.
Pew Research Center
The Center is an independent opinion research group that studies politics, public policy issues, and attitudes toward the press. Roper Center Public Opinion Archives (iPoll)
The Roper Center for Public Opinion Research archives include datasets from thousands of public opinion surveys with national adult, state, foreign, and special subpopulation samples. The data catalog also includes the iPoll search tool, which allows users to discover data by searching keywords that appear in survey questions. Along with information on survey organization, interview dates, and type of sample, most results include abstracts indicating the subjects covered by the questions in the survey.

Important: Users must create a distinct account within the Roper system after authenticating with NYU to search and download data.

Polling the Nations is a compilation of public opinion data gathered by polling organizations in the United States and 100 other countries from 1986 to the present. Geolytics Neighborhood Change Database
The Geolytics Neighborhood Change Database (NCDB) gives users access to US Census data from 1970, 1980, 1990, 2000, and 2010 at the census tract level, with the option to access data for all four decades normalized to 2010 tract boundaries. Users can download data as if the 2010 tracts existed, and all the data is weighted to these areas. Variables include population, household, and housing characteristics, income, poverty status, education level, employment, housing costs, immigration, and others. Users can export data in .dbf, ASCII, shapefile, or mid/mif files.

Historical Statistics of the United State is a source for downloadable quantitative data that pertains to America's past. Topics of data range from migration and health to crime and the Confederate States of America. Users can access reports, essays, and extract data into Excel tables.

IPUMS USA
The Integrated Public Use Microdata Series (IPUMS-USA) consists of more than fifty high-precision samples of the American population drawn from fifteen federal censuses and from the American Community Surveys of 2000-2012. These samples, which draw on every surviving census from 1850-2000, and the 2000-2012 ACS samples, collectively constitute our richest source of quantitative information on long-term changes in the American population. However, because different investigators created these samples at different times, they employed a wide variety of record layouts, coding schemes, and documentation. This has complicated efforts to use them to study change over time. The IPUMS assigns uniform codes across all the samples and brings relevant documentation into a coherent form to facilitate analysis of social and economic change.
