The Digital Studio, NYU's gateway to digital services supporting scholarship and teaching, is located in the Research Commons on the 5th floor of Bobst Library. The Digital Studio is designed to help scholars use technology for research, teaching, and learning and offers access to specialized equipment, training and consultation with multimedia services, media publication, file storage and management, learning management tools, and digital project planning. It features 15 specialized workstations and instruction space where students and faculty can receive consultation and training by specialists.

Data Services is a joint service of NYU Libraries and ITS to support quantitative, qualitative, and geographical research at NYU. Data Services offers access to specialty software packages for statistical analysis, geographic information systems (GIS), survey research, and qualitative data analysis. We provide training and support as well as consulting expertise for many aspects of the research data lifecycle including access, analysis, collection development, data management, and data preservation.
