What is BrowZine?

A browsable newsstand of the library's top journals. Easily find, read, and monitor thousands of scholarly journals directly from your tablet. BrowZine is a service that works in tandem with many databases to recreate the experience of browsing and reading a journal.

What can you do with it?

Using BrowZine, you can

  • Easily read complete scholarly journals in a format that is optimized for mobile devices and tablets

  • Create a personal bookshelf of favorite journals

  • Receive alerts when new issues of journals are published

  • Easily save to Zotero, Mendeley, Dropbox and other services

How do I start using BrowZine?

  • The Browzine app is available in the App Store, Google Play Store, and the Amazon appstore.

    • Compatible with iPads, iPhones, and iPods running iOS v.8.x+; Android devices running OS v4.1+; and Kindle Fire HD tablets.

  • Download the free app appropriate to your device; and install it.

  • When you open BrowZine for the first time, you will see a list of schools; select New York University.

  • Enter your NYU Username and Password.

  • Select the subject areas and start browsing!

  • While on campus the website should automatically connect with NYU.
  • If you are accessing the site from off campus, go to Settings to choose your University affiliation.
