What is RefWorks?

RefWorks is an online tool for capturing references when searching catalogs, databases, Google, etc. 

Features include:

  • the ability to organize references with folders and tags
  • import references from catalogs and databases
  • upload the metadata from a PDF
  • edit references and add notes
  • share and search for references 

You can also generate in-text citations to insert into your paper and create a bibliography automatically according to your chosen style (e.g. MLA, APA, Chicago, etc.).
