All students, researchers, faculty, and staff—regardless of area of study, experience, discipline, or NYU school affiliation are eligible to participate.

NYU-affiliated entrepreneurs and startup teams can book appointments with Stern's various experts-in-residence and industry advisors, including their "Legal Help Desk".

The Business Transactions Clinic provides free business and transactional legal services to nonprofit organizations, social enterprises, and under-resourced entrepreneurs and small businesses that operate in areas of concern to the public. NYU's Technology Opportunities & Ventures (formerly known as the Office of Industrial Liaison or "OIL") seeks to promote the commercial development of NYU technologies.
