UpToDate is an electronic, full-text clinical resource that provides evidence-based answers to the most commonly asked questions in clinical practice.Over 10,000 topics in over 22 specialties, including Drug Info and Patient Level education materials. Written by an international faculty of practicing clinicians who are experts in their specialties.

As both a bioinformatics and a cheminformatics resource, it combines detailed chemical, pharmacological and pharmaceutical data with drug target sequence, structure, and pathway information.

Responsible for the safety of drugs available to the public.
DailyMed (NIH/NLM)
Provides high quality information about marketed drugs. This information includes FDA labels (package inserts). This Web site provides health information providers and the public with a standard, comprehensive, up-to-date, look-up and download resource of medication content and labeling as found in medication package inserts. The National Library of Medicine (NLM) provides this as a public service and does not accept advertisements.
Drugs and Lactation Database (LactMed)
A peer-reviewed and fully referenced database of drugs to which breastfeeding mothers may be exposed. Among the data included are maternal and infant levels of drugs, possible effects on breastfed infants and on lactation, and alternate drugs to consider.

You can find books and journals by searching NYU Library catalog by Library of Congress Subject Headings. On the Advanced Search screen change the drop-down box to Subject and type in the subject term(s) you seek.
