Irish and Irish American Studies
A guide to NYU resources for Irish Studies researchers and instructors.
NYU LIbraries Special Collections and Irish-Published Material
By virtues of its holdings in Anglophone literature, and in particular the Fales Collection of British and American Literature, NYU Libraries holds a number of literary works of interest to scholars of Irish Studies who focus on English-language material. The Fales collection in particular, because of its richness in first editions and concentration on authors of English-language works, provides a useful resource for Irish Studies despite its avowed focus on "British and American" topics.
A search on Irish places of publications for books present in the main NYU Libraries catalog and housed in Special Collections (especially those within the Fales collection) reveals over 460 titles. This listing is presented here for the interest of researchers:
A listing of all works published in Dublin, Belfast, Cork, or Galway held at NYU Special Collections. Includes a designation as to whether the item is part of the Fales Collection, and a link to catalog records for further information about the title. This document is presented in Google Sheets.
