If you're searching for books in the NYU Libraries' collections about a particular pop culture topic, try using the "In subject" option from the pulldown menu on the "Advanced Search" screen in the NYU Libraries' catalog. This will find books (and audiovisual materials) about that topic. For example:
If you're not sure where to start, try using the "Anywhere in record" option and searching for a few keywords related to your topic. If you get too many results, try clicking "Subject" under "Limit My Results" on the left side of the results screen to narrow your search by subject.
You can also use BobCat to find audiovisual materials (including CDs and DVDs) by searching for titles or names of recording artists, directors, or actors. For more information about how to borrow sound recordings and films, visit the home page of the Avery Fisher Center (Bobst Library, 7th floor).
