HathiTrust Digital Library is a digital preservation repository and highly functional access platform. It provides long-term preservation and access services for public domain and in copyright content from a variety of sources, including Google, the Internet Archive, Microsoft, and in-house partner institution initiatives. Bibliographic and full text search are available for all volumes in HathiTrust. Public domain volumes are freely accessible to the public and can be downloaded in their entirety with authentication by persons affiliated with partner institutions. NYU Libraries is a HathiTrust partner institution.

Ebook Central is NYU's preferred ebook provider. Users can search, read, highlight, and annotate full-text books in many subject areas, including the social sciences and humanities.

JSTOR provides access to scholarly journals, primarily in the humanities and social sciences. In addition to journal articles, users can access book chapters, ebooks, and primary source documents.

Alexander Street Press Central Search allows users to search all of the content available through Alexander Street Press collections. The collections include a range of video collections, archival items, ebooks, and reference resources.

The Art & Architecture ePortal database is an eBook resource that features works of scholarship in the history of art, architecture, decorative arts, photography, and design. The database also allows users to search for images within all titles by keyword.

Bloomsbury Collections delivers online access to scholarly books from Bloomsbury's Academic division. While the titles generally span the humanities and social sciences, the bulk of them are categorized as works of sociology. Bloomsbury Collections includes research publications from Bloomsbury, T&T Clark, The Arden Shakespeare, and Hart Publishing, alongside scholarship from historic imprints Continuum, Berg, and Bristol Classical Press.

Bloomsbury Cultural History surveys the social and cultural construction of specific subjects across six historical periods: Antiquity, the Medieval Age, the Renaissance, the Enlightenment, the Age of Empire, and the Modern Age. This database also includes an e-book collection, image partnerships with the Wellcome Collection, and support features such as lesson plans and an interactive timeline.

Brill Online: Books and Journals is a collection of ebooks and academic journal content published by Brill. Users can search collections, series, and titles across many academic disciplines.

Cambridge Companions are lively, accessible introductions to major writers, artists, philosophers, topics and periods. All are collections of specially commissioned essays, shaped and introduced to appeal to student readers. Together the chapters add up to a systematic critical account of, for example Plato, Luther, Jane Austen, Tom Stoppard or Stravinsky, the French Novel or Jewish American Literature, and each title is supported by reference features such as a chronology and guide to further reading.

Columbia International Affairs Online (CIAO) is a source for theory and research in international affairs. De Gruyter Online provides access and discovery services for eBooks, journals, and databases in the sciences, social sciences, and the arts.

The primary aim of DOAB is to increase discoverability of Open Access books. Academic publishers are invited to provide metadata of their Open Access books to DOAB. Metadata will be harvestable in order to maximize dissemination, visibility and impact. Aggregators can integrate the records in their commercial services and libraries can integrate the directory into their online catalogues, helping scholars and students to discover the books. The directory will be open to all publishers who publish academic, peer reviewed books in Open Access and should contain as many books as possible, provided that these publications are in Open Access and meet academic standards.

Duke University Press is a single-search portal into the ebooks and journals content published by Duke University Press. Users may browse and discover ebooks and journals in the humanities, social sciences, and mathematics.

MIT Press Direct offers access to the complete collection of MIT Press ebooks. Key subject areas covered in the collection include: art and architecture, biomedical sciences, business and finance, computer science, cognitive science, design, education, environment, game studies, humanities, information science, linguistics, neuroscience, new media, philosophy, and social sciences.

The OAPEN Library contains freely accessible academic books, mainly in the area of Humanities and Social Sciences. OAPEN works with publishers, including university presses, to build a quality controlled collection of Open Access books. Users can download copies of books as PDFs.

OECD (formerly OECD iLibrary) is the online portal for the Organization for Economic Co-operation and Development. The OCED content includes book collections, policy reports, statistical abstracts, and the OECD.Stat tool, with which users can create custom extracts from the OECD data warehouse.

OpenEdition provides access to mainly French-language monographs, journals, and other resources in the humanities and social sciences with four different platforms: OpenEdition (eBooks), Revues.org (journals), Hypothèses (scholarly blogs), and Calenda (announcements for conferences, scholarships, etc., primarily in France). The database also includes publications in English, Spanish, and other languages.

Oxford Handbooks Online contains the complete text of the Oxford Handbooks series, including titles in business, history, literature, music, philosophy, and more. Oxford Handbooks Online also contains pre-print articles.

Oxford Scholarly Editions Online (OSEO) provides an interlinked collection of authoritative Oxford editions of major works from the humanities. Users can browse Oxford editions of classics, discover titles by author, or search by genre or language (and limit searches to Latin).

Taylor & Francis eBooks is a portal for full-text ebooks in a variety of subjects across the humanities, sciences, and social sciences. Users can download .PDF versions of some books on this platform, and view other books via the FileOpen online viewer.

Torrossa provides full-text access to research in the humanities, fine arts, social sciences, pure sciences, applied sciences, and law from a substantial list of major Italian publishers. Coverage includes monographs (eBooks), periodicals and conference proceedings. Some publications are in languages other than Italian. The extensive collection can be browsed by discipline (Dewey Decimal or Library of Congress Classification).
