On this page, you will find some resources for exploring datasets and statistics. You will also find information about our Data Services lab which provides quantitative, qualitative, and geographical research support through one-on-one consultations, classes, and access to software.

Aging Stats
An inter-agency forum for bringing together Federal agencies that share a common interest in improving aging-related data.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Health Aging)
An CDC Portal for access to data on a range of key indicators of health and well-being, screenings and vaccinations, caregiving, and mental health, including subjective cognitive decline among older adults at national and state levels.
Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (Mental Health)
Reports, statistics, and data sources around mental health and mental illness collected and composed by the CDC.
Child Trends (Databank)
A nonprofit research center that studies children at all stages of development, and reports research findings, data, and analyses. This center uses their information to help advocate and support decision-making regarding children, in both the private and public sectors.

National Institute of Mental Health Information Resource Center (Statistics)
The NIMH's collection of currently available statistics on the prevalence and treatment of mental illnesses among the U.S. population and its consequences (such as suicide and disability).
Our World in Data (OWID)
Our World in Data is a scientific online publication that focuses on poverty, disease, hunger, climate change, war, existential risks, and inequality on a global scale. All research (visualizations and text) OWID publishes are licensed under Creative Commons. All of their data is available for download. All code is open-sourced.

Congressional District Health Dashboard This link opens in a new window
Created by the Department of Population Health at NYU Grossman School of Medicine, in partnership with and support from the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation, the Congressional District Health Dashboard (CDHD) launched in January 2023 as a first-of-its-kind resource, offering trusted data on health and its drivers for all 435 (and Washington DC) U.S. congressional districts.

Statista aggregates data on markets, industry, politics, economics, and population. Users can export datasets in a variety of formats. Sources include trade publications, market and opinion research institutions, government sources, business and economic databases, reference publications, media sources, and scholarly articles. Include Statista's "Global Consumer Survey", which helps marketers understand consumer behavior and brand interaction.
UNdata This link opens in a new window
UNdata is the data download portal of the United Nations. Users can search by country, year, and indicator and create custom data extracts to download. UNData also includes an API that developers can use to query, display results externally, and download to local storage for further analysis. The data portal includes datasets from the United Nations Statistics Division (UNSD), World Health Organization (WHO), and more.
