South Asian Diaspora

The peoples of South Asia have migrated and settled all over the world. The initial contexts and causes of migration, the social, economic and political consequences of migration, and the experiences of the migrants (individual and collective) in their new countries of residence have all been studied and researched extensively in different disciplines. This reserarch guide -- an ongoing work in progress -- selects important resources that document the South Asian diaspora, to facilitate further research and study in this expanding interdisciplinary field.
