SUE Overview

Sustainable Urban Environments (SUE) combines liberal arts, science, and technology courses to address the technical and social aspects of the sustainability issues facing our cities. The Tandon School of Engineering offers a BS in Sustainable Urban Environments through the Technology, Culture, and Society Department.

NYU Data Services offers many resources and workshops related to SUE including GIS, quantitative, qualitative, and data visualization software and consultations.

CUSP (Center for Urban Science and Progress)
CUSP is a university-wide center whose research and education programs are focused on urban informatics. Using NYC as its lab, and building from its home in the NYU Tandon School of Engineering, it integrates and applies NYU strengths in the natural, data, and social sciences to understand and improve cities throughout the world. CUSP offers a one-year MS degree in Applied Urban Science & Informatics.
