The NYU Shanghai Library Catalog is a single search where you can find all sorts of sources - books, videos, journal articles, news articles, and more. Begin from the library's home page and search with your keywords in the Catalog Search box.
On the results page, you can look at certain types of sources using the Resource Type limit on the left side of the page. Click on "Show More" to see all the different types of sources that include your search keywords.

These library databases can be useful places to search specifically for newspaper articles. News articles can be a good way to find recent information about events, policies, and public opinions. You can also find quotes from experts or the public, and sometimes summaries of academic research.
Encyclopedias can offer background information about a new topic. Most encyclopedia articles summarize existing research on a topic, and may identify some relevant sub-topics. They can be a good place to find terminology academics use, which make great search keywords. Dictionaries can be useful for understanding unfamiliar terminology in the other sources you find.
