An overview of the Palace e-reader mobile app for NYU Libraries.

NYU Libraries Launches the Palace App Pilot

The Palace Project Logo

The NYU Libraries have launched a pilot project to make over 280,000 ebooks available on mobile devices. As a part of this University-wide beta test, NYU users can now download and read ebooks in the Palace Project app, an eReader available for iOS and Android phones and tablets.

Through the Palace app, users can access ebooks and reference works from major publishers.

During this beta test phase, the NYU Libraries will conduct user testing and collect user feedback to help us improve the service. Feel free to report any feedback to the e-resources team.

Why should I try the Palace app?

  • Easy access to over 280,000 ebooks on your mobile devices.

  • Reduce number of logins needed – no need to log into Adobe or publisher accounts. Just install the Palace app on your phone or tablet and login with your NYU netID.

  • Support library-developed open source software. Your feedback can help improve and develop new functionality in the Palace app.

Please email the Library's e-resources team for any help.
