Python is freely available to download along with several Python Editors and IDEs for Python. Python is also available to use in the Data Services lab.
One of the easiest ways to get started with Python is to install Anaconda® - a package manager, an environment manager, a Python/R data science distribution, and a collection of over 7,500+ open-source packages. This usually circumvents many common difficulties of installation and environment setup.
