NYU Florence Library & Online Resources: When in New York

Using your NYU ID

• Most NYU Global students should already have a Washington Square ID card which will allow you to swipe into Bobst Library.
• Your NYU Global card will not allow swipe access to Bobst Library.
• If this is your first time at the Washington Square campus you can obtain a new ID card from NYU Card Services located at 7 Washington Place (at the corner of Mercer Street)
• Hours information can be found NYU Card and Campus cash page of the NYU website

• If this swipe access is not working, please call the NYU Card Services office at 212.443.2273 or visit their office in the Fairchild Building.

Borrowing Privileges

While in New York, NYU Global patrons do have borrowing privileges at Bobst Library. However, please note that all books are subject to recall at any time, and it may be most convenient for you to return your books before going abroad. 

Recalled Books

Items which have been recalled from you must be returned by the due date specified in the recall notice, regardless of the original due date or the due date stamped in the back of the book. Recalled books which become overdue accrue fines at the rate of $1/day and block your record so that you cannot check out or renew any books until the recalled items are returned. Books that are already overdue will accrue charges retroactive to the original due date.
