The Ulivi Library contains about 7,000 volumes, including copies of required course textbooks and supplemental texts. In the library, copies of all textbooks are available for consultation and short term loans. Extra copies of some textbooks are also available for semester long loans.
Search here for books, articles, journals and other print materials, videos, sound recordings, e-books, e-journals, databases, and indexes in our local libraries and special collections.
Here are tips for better search results in databases. This usage works on most databases, but check 'Help' sections for supported search syntax.
Boolean: (using operators: and, or, not)
cat and dog searches for occurrences of both words within scope defined.
cat or dog searches for one or all, but both are not required.
cat not dog searches for occurrences of the word ‘cat’ without use of the word ‘dog.’
(cat not dog) and pet searches for occurrences of the word ‘cat’ without use of the word ‘dog,’ then also requires the word ‘pet.’
Truncation:
art* searches for art, arts, artistic, artful, etc.
Wildcard:
m?n searches for man and men.
When using article databases, remember there are always three stages in your workflow (the "three Ds"):
Citation management software helps you take notes, organize research, import citations from electronic databases and catalogs, format reference lists in standard styles (MLA, APA etc.); insert footnotes and endnotes directly into your papers.
