The MLA International Bibliography provides bibliographic records for books, book chapters, journal articles, and dissertations published in the fields of modern languages, literatures, folklore, and linguistics. Full text is available for some articles. The MLAIB covers items published from around 1920 to the present.

Cairn.info provides full-text access to research in the humanities and social sciences from French, Belgian, and Swiss publishers. Coverage includes monographs (eBooks), periodicals, and conference proceedings, with some abstracts and journal articles in English.

Numérique Premium provides full-text access to eBooks from major French and Francophone Canadian publishers, in the fields of literature, the arts, philosophy, history, geography, psychology, and education. Coverage includes monographs and conference proceedings.

Cambridge Companions are lively, accessible introductions to major writers, artists, philosophers, topics and periods. All are collections of specially commissioned essays, shaped and introduced to appeal to student readers. Together the chapters add up to a systematic critical account of, for example Plato, Luther, Jane Austen, Tom Stoppard or Stravinsky, the French Novel or Jewish American Literature, and each title is supported by reference features such as a chronology and guide to further reading.

Caribbean Literature is a searchable collection primarily of poetry and fiction, with a selection of non-fiction works, produced in the Caribbean islands or by authors from that region during the 19th and 20th centuries. It includes numerous hard-to-find works in English, French, Spanish, Dutch, and regional creoles, as well as a set of reference works for Caribbean creole languages.

ARTFL, the Project for American and French Research on the Treasury of the French Language, provides access to searchable full-text versions of thousands of French-language texts from the 12th through the 20th centuries in FRANTEXT and other databases; dictionaries and encyclopedias from the 16th through the early 20th centuries; as well as the Trésor de la Langue Française informatisée (TLFi) and the Dictionnaire vivant de la langue française (DVLF).

Le Grand Robert is the most comprehensive dictionary of the French language, with etymologies and quotations from historical and modern sources. Searches by phonetic transcription, morphological features, parts of speech, and source quotations are possible in advanced search; all textual elements are hyperlinked to corresponding entries for quick look-up.
