Welcome!

Introduction

This guide presents some of the more significant resources for the study of the literatures of the Iberian Peninsula and Spanish- and Portuguese-speaking Latin America. Use the page navigation for information about finding specific types of resources. For research guides on the study of literature more broadly or for guides pertaining to cultural and area studies, see the list below.

Consult BobCat, NYU's online library catalog to find materials in the NYU collections, or explore NYU's databases for electronic articles and eBooks, bibliographic citations, reference materials, digitized primary sources, and other resources. Databases are organized by general subject area and by content type, including subject-specific lists for Spanish & Portuguese Language & Literature and for Latin American & Caribbean Studies. Quick links to databases commonly used by researchers in these fields appear below, under "Core Resources".
