Whitney Davis is a M.A. candidate at The Center for Experimental Humanities
(CEH) at New York University and the Editor-in-Chief of CEH's interdisciplinary publication, Caustic Frolic
. After receiving her undergraduate degree in Secondary English Education at Missouri State University and teaching high school English near her home in Kansas City, MO, she decided to return to school to study the phenomenological effect of hip-hop and social media on contemporary youth culture. As a QDA Research Intern at Data Services, she is further developing her qualitative software skill set, especially Qualtrics and Atlas.Ti for a research project pertaining to the historicizing of hip-hop language and other media forms.
