About the Library's Reference Materials

The Reference Collection is accessible in print during the open service desk hours only, and cannot be checked out to students for extended loans.

Real Estate NYC Property Research

Library staff will try to make the following resource available to currently enrolled students and faculty via mediated requests:

  • PropertyShark: Database for property reports, sales info, comparable sales, limited listings, for New York City (Request form)
    Due to increased demand, students are able to request up to 10 property reports per semester. 

Economic and Investment Analysis

The library does not provide direct access to the publication websites. Request forms for these publications are accessible using the appropriate links below. Access is restricted to currently enrolled students, and active staff and faculty.

Construction Cost Estimating

Links on this page are for the library catalog record, and will not provide online access to current editions. RSMeans publications are updated annually, and the Marshall Valuation Service is updated monthly. Print editions of these titles are available onsite at the Brause Library for currently enrolled students. Please email midtown.library@nyu.edu with any questions.
