The Jack Brause Library, located alongside the Schack Institute of Real Estate on the fifth floor of the NYU Midtown Center, is open to eligible visitors by advance appointment. Visitors must demonstrate a need for resources in the library’s physical collection that are unavailable at the New York Public Library.
Visitors must be members of one of the following groups:
Appointments must be made at least two business days in advance, and will be confirmed by email. People should not visit the library without a confirmation email from the Brause Library team. There are no same-day appointments and no walk-ins permitted. At certain times of the year (e.g., welcome week, midterms, finals), we will not accept appointment requests.

The NYU Division of Libraries is charged with the safety and comfort of community members in our spaces, and reserves the right to bar entry to any individual should they disrupt the learning environment within the Brause Library.
