NYU's Jack Brause Library is one of the preeminent real estate libraries in North America.

Wireless Access

Current Student Wireless Access

Current NYU students, faculty and staff gain automatic access to the nyu wireless network using their Net ID and password. Visit the NYU Wi-Fi site for tips and further setup instructions.

Guest Wireless Access

Currently-enrolled students from an affiliated institution (Columbia University, The New School, Cooper Union, and the New York School of Interior Design) may gain access to the nyuguest wireless network.  Students can obtain the guest log-in credentials from the service desk during staffed hours or in Room 1031.

Library Computers

The Jack Brause Library has several computers available for use by current students, faculty, and staff.

The following software is installed:

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro
  • Adobe Photoshop CS4
  • Firefox
  • Microsoft Office Suite

Bloomberg Terminal

Bloomberg termianlsThe Brause Library has one Bloomberg terminal available on a first-come, first serve basis. It is located next to Study Room B.

Midtown Center Computers

Current students at the Midtown Center can access the computers and printers on the 10th floor, and get support from the onsite technical team (Room 1031) if necessary.

The following software is installed:

  • Adobe Acrobat 9 Pro
  • Adobe Photoshop CS4
  • Argus (please visit IT staff in Room 1031 for assistance)
  • Firefox
  • Internet Explorer
  • Microsoft Office Suite

There are also several iMacs available for general use throughout the 4th, 5th, and 10th floors.
